Women in F1
Formula 1 is generally seen as a man’s world, but not at Panasonic Toyota Racing, where women are playing a key, behind-the-scenes role helping the team prepare for the Grand Prix. Women have worked at Toyota since the very start of the team’s Formula 1 project and the first female engineer was employed at the Cologne factory more than 10 years ago. Today, three managers within the team are women and approximately 13 percent of employees at the Cologne headquarters are female.
