The new components should help Kimi

Kimi Räikkönen is excited because he knows that he has a car which is capable of winning races and the World Championships.
When leaving from the Bahrain circuit, Kimi’s thoughts weren’t focused on the long break ahead but on the forthcoming challenges of the F2007 project.
“Of course holidays are nice, but I wouldn’t mind going straight to testing from here, so we could get the car as we want it to be.” said Räikkönen
Leading the championship is a good base for the European start of the season.
“We have a rather good position (in the points), but the situation could be better. We could have all the fruits in the basket, but things just haven’t worked out the way we wanted. But now when we get our hands on the new parts, it should be much better.”
“It was pretty difficult during the Malaysian and Bahrain weekends. The qualifying is the biggest problem. We can challenge anyone, but if you are not able to get close to others for the start, there is nothing you can do about it.”
“For sure I could go much faster when we are able to get the car like I want it to be. Hopefully we can improve the car in the next tests, when the new parts come. We’ll see.”
