Ferrari started the season with two F2007 projects

Kimi Räikkönen got what he was looking for, a good testing day in Barcelona. The ‘Renewed’ Ferrari works well. According to Ferrari, Kimi drove 97 laps and his best lap was a 1.21,194.Ferrari F2007 had 3-4 new components, which should bring an improvement of 2-3 tenths.

Insiders claim that Ferrari started to this season with two projects.

The first one was used in the first three races, and the second one, which will be used in Barcelona GP, saw the day light today.

Although the changes are significant, F2007 still remains as F2007, not as a B-version.

The side pods of new Ferrari are now clearly shorter and the radiator narrower. The new air exits in the back work more efficiently too.

Räikkönen’s testing programme continues on Tuesday, but the weather seems to be rainy, which has already hindered Kimi’s adaptation enough before the [start of the] season.

Because of the rainy forecast, teams have agreed to extend their testing until Thursday.
