Ferrari has astonished everyone in the paddock by dominating the test sessions at Valencia. Ferrari consistently set series os fast laps, their top times being achieved during long runs. Witnesses say on the long runs Ferrari are approx 3 tenths faster than McLaren, while Williams also had a very strong showing. Renault has undoubtedly improved, Alonso’s long runs were said to be 3 tenths shy of McLaren’s.
