Bahrain Formula 1 test video
For those of you who missed the sounds of Formula 1 engines here’s something you will enjoy. Also included are interviews with various drivers and technical staff from around the paddock. The comments are not in English, but most of the interviews are ![]()
Because some of you requested an English transcript of the interviews in Italian, here they are :
Reporter (to Trulli): What area [of the car] are you least satisfied with?
Trulli: If we analyze all the areas, we’re missing something in all of them, we’re missing reliability, we’re not fast, and we have to work a lot on the aerodynamics… these are the key points in today’s Formula 1 [racing].
Massa : It’s important to have the car always on track.
Reporter: Do you have new aero parts? Are they coming? Are we going to see the Ferrari exactly in Melbourne configuration?
Massa: Yes - next week [starting the 25th Feb], the next three days [of testing] we are going to have the car exactly in race configuration, therefore we are hoping to continue seeing improvements.
Reporter (to Kubica) : It seems the gearbox is your `black cat` (unlucky component).
Kubica: Well, it’s playing jokes on us :), especially to me, because I have a different driving style and also a different gear change style : I am faster to change up the gears compared to Nick,[…] and yes, we have to solve this problem. Definitely the car has potential, because at Barcelona and Jerez we didn’t have this problem and we were strong, [however] here we had this problem for two consecutive days, and the car balance is ruined from the start.

Would be nice to have a transcipt of the comments and interviews that are not in English given to us in English is possible =D
